Christopher graduated from Touro College in 2012 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor's in Health Sciences. Since graduation he has focused on continued education with emphasis on orthopedic manual therapy. In his free time he enjoys learning about nutrition, boating, fishing and hunting.
Tracy began her career in 1991 at Mount Sinai Medical Center after graduating from Ithaca College's PT program. She joined our team in 2002 upon completion of an Advanced Masters Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy from Touro College. Tracy has completed extensive continuing education courses in orthopedics and manual therapy.
Denise is extremely passionate and dedicated to her patients. She is interested in working with individuals suffering from neurological disorders including parkinsons, multiple sclerosis, strokes or cerebellar ataxia. Denise enjoys spending time with her five children and being in the outdoors!
Rob Balnis, Personal Trainer
Robby has been with East End Physical Therapy since 2000. He graduated with a BS degree with a concentration in athletic training from Frostburg State University. He is a certified personal trainer and played rugby locally and internationally for 15 years.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Rita has been a licensed massage therapist since 2002. She has an associate's degree in occupational studies from the Massage Therapy Institute in New York. Rita's hobbies include hiking and gardening.
Sean graduated in 2016 from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY. His clinical interests include manual therapy and postoperative care. He has experience in various settings including acute care and neurological rehabilitation. In his free time, Sean enjoys everything outdoors including fishing, hiking and beekeeping.
Kristie graduated from SUNY Cortland with a B.S. in Kinesiology. She is a personal trainer, group exercise instructor and functional strengthe coach aspiring to be an occupational therapist.
Alejandro graduated from East Hampton High School. He hopes to someday pursue a career in physical therapy. One of his passions is helping people. Se habla Espanol!
Gail has been with the company since 1992. She has a wealth of information regarding insurance questions. She loves meeting patients and wants to make your experience here the best it can be.
Emily has been working with us since 2010. She is very knowledgeable about insurances. Emily is very friendly and loves helping. She is also a New York State license massage therapist.
Farah earned an Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Suffolk Community College in 1996 and has been practicing in our Southampton location ever since. Farah has taken many continuing education courses including Assessing and Treatment of Progressive Neurological Disease, Functional Geriatrics and Pediatric Yoga.
Ed graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Suffolk County Community College in 1996 with an Associates of Applied Science degree and has been with Manual and Sports Physical Therapy since 2004. Ed's completed continuing education courses include Shoulder Pain in the Young and "Masters" Athlete, Current Concepts in Shoulder Surgery and Integrated Neuromuscular Re-Education. He is also a certified physical trainer.
Lia joined our team in 2012 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. In 2010 she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Health Studies. She is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and was given the Professional Excellence Award in 2011.
Tom earned his Associate of Applied Science Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Suffolk Community College in 2006. His continuing education courses include Clinical Approach to Sports Injuries Rehabilitation and Therapeutic Modalities.
Sag Harbor Staff
Peter graduated from Florida International University in 1982 with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. He earned a Master's in Physical Therapy from Stony Brook University in 1993. In 1985 he opened Manual and Sports Physical Therapy in Southampton and has since expanded the practice east to Sag Harbor and East Hampton. Peter is recognized as a Sports Certified Specialist by the American Physical Therapy Association. Athletics and competitive sports are a lifelong passion of his. He has successfully completed over a dozen Iron Man Competitions and continues to race all over the world.
Physical Therapist Assistant, Licensed Massage Therapist
Nick earned an Associate in Science degree as a Fitness Specialist and an Associates of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Suffolk Community College. Nick began his career with Manual and Sports Physical therapy in 1997. As the Clinical Instructor of the Sag Harbor location Nick is actively involved in student education. Nick has been a Licensed Massage Therapy since the 1990s after training at The New York College of Holistic Medicine.
Liliana earned her degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Suffolk County Community College in 2002 and began her career with Manual and Sports Physical Therapy in 2003. In 2006 she completed her course-work in Massage Therapy at New York College of Health Professions and became a licensed massage therapist.
Liliana became an ISSA Certified Fitness Trainer in 2008.
Leesie joined our team in 2014 after graduating from Stony Brook
University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She completed her Bachelors of Science in 2010 from Loyola University of Maryland in Biology-Psychology. Leesie has completed multiple continuing education courses with Maitland-Australian Physiotherapy Seminars with an emphasis on orthopedic manual therapy treatment of spinal and peripheral regions as well as stabilization training and functional rehabilitation.
Kyle has been working as an aide since 2011. He makes sure that all our patients are as welcomed and comfortable as possible. Kyle's hobbies are playing drums in his band Clearwater Stills and watching movies. His goals are to become a certified personal trainer and PTA to continue helping people in this great field.
Mary performed modern dance and taught Pilates and yoga before attending physical therapy school. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University in New York. Since graduating, Mary has specialized in manual therapy, orthopedics and women’s health through post graduate continuing education courses. Mary has been working for the company since 2015.
Maria joined our team in 2015. She works closely with the physical therapists and helps with patient flow through the clinic. Maria has always had a strong passion for helping people and enjoys interacting with patients, listening to their stories and seeing their progress from their first visit to their last. She will be graduating with her Liberal Arts degree and plans to further her education by pursuing a career in the healthcare field.
Carly has been with us since 2011. She enjoys helping people and will answer all your questions about insurance coverage and billing. She will schedule your PT appointments, verify your insurance coverage and make sure every aspect of your visit runs smoothly.
